For starters, here's some glowing praise from a few happy City Diary users:
Longtime user William from Reading, MA says, "It has been, is now and will be my pocket 'brain.' I was educated at MIT so I trust old technologies more than new ones. It is a superb companion." Exactly what we like to hear in this day & age of PDAs, iPads and similar gadgets!
J.G. from NYC agrees with that sentiment: "It's the perfect size for the daily information I need to write in it -- with no chance of crashes and losing data!"
Meanwhile, Jane from Summit, NJ tells us, "I've been using your diaries for 15 years and now my children are hooked on them." Fantastic to know that Per Annum Diaries have been a part of your family for so long -- can't wait till you get the grandkids hooked, too!
Aside from daily planning and keeping their schedules organized, some customers like to use their diaries as a record of past events:

Here's a tale of woe from Diane in Chicago: "I have been using your datebooks for many years, but they sell out so fast at the bookstores, that I sometimes miss my chance. The times that I've had to go without, my life has been in shambles, missing appointments, getting on the wrong train. There's no end to the trouble." Liisa from Mansfield, MA, is a longtime fan of the Boston Diary. "I have used the same exact model for over 20 years," she says, adding that she likes the "durability, bookmark, content and maps." However, she also notes that "occasionally some of the info is out of date." We go to great lengths early in the year to research all of our listings (often by literally going down the list and calling each one) to ensure that they are up-to-date up until the moment the books go to press. But by the time they are released in September, regrettably, businesses sometimes close or information changes without warning. In such cases, by all means let us know and we'll make sure it's fixed for the following year.

Lastly, we have the never-ending discussion of cover colors. For many years, we only offered the diaries in black (sometimes red) -- so when we started offering a variety of colors a few years ago, they were a big hit. Since then, customers often chime in with more requests, for example:
Boni from Brooklyn: "More fashion colors, like metallic silver and gold."
L.M.U. from NYC: "Vivid leather covers -- orange, fuschia."
Terri L., a Per Annum fan on Facebook: "Maybe next year you'll have the Deluxe in pink!"
Rest assured, these and other suggestions have been passed along to our production team. We try to add colors as demand grows (and funds allow), so keep your fingers crossed for next year and beyond.
