We Want Your Product Reviews!

Here at Per Annum, we always enjoy hearing from our customers, whether it's via e-mail, phone or even the occasional snail-mail letter.  Specific questions, product suggestions, miscellaneous comments, and yes, criticisms -- if you have something to say, don't be shy!

Along those same lines, we'd love to see some product reviews from those of you who have been using and enjoying our products over the years.  Just a quick paragraph or a few sentences critiquing your favorite City Diary, or showing us how you put together a specific photo album for your niece's birthday, or how a pair of Nannini Sport Specs affected your golf game!

And just to sweeten the pot, if you send us your review(s), not only will we immortalize them here in our blog, but you will receive a special Per Annum coupon for use on a future order!  (It will be worth your while, I assure you.)

'Tis the Season for a Family Photo Contest!

The weather is getting brisk, the streets are crowded with shoppers carrying piles of gift-wrapped boxes, and there's a huge, lit-up tree in the middle of Rockefeller Center.  All of this can only mean one thing:  The holiday season is upon us!  Here at Per Annum, we are feeling the holiday spirit big-time (and not just because this is our busiest time of year!), and we want to celebrate with -- what else? -- a photo contest!

Since "family" is the most important thing this time of year, we want to see your most festive family holiday photos.  They can be old or new... a big family dinner, kids opening presents, pets frolicking in the snow... anything that represents your holiday family traditions or feelings.  Here are a couple of examples...

 

To enter, simply visit our Facebook fan page, become a fan of Per Annum and post your photos directly onto our wall.  Our panel of judges will choose the best of the best, and then we'll ask our readers & fans to vote for their favorite finalist.  The winner gets a great Per Annum prize pack filled with goodies that will surely come in handy this season!

Submission deadline:  Dec 15th
We’ll pick our favorites and then YOU will get to vote for the best.
Voting:  Dec. 16th thru 20th

The votes have been tallied and if anything, our SPRING AWAKENING photo contest has proven one thing:  Cute baby photos will triumph over animals and gorgeous nature shots every time!  The winner, as you may have guessed, is AMANDA W., whose adorable photo of a baby, red tulips and a spring-tastic sunbeam dominated the competition with an overwhelming 93% of the vote!  Congratulations, Amanda -- your Per Annum Prize Pack will be on its way ASAP!

Don't forget, there's still time to enter our SPRING AWAKENING Photo Contest!  We want to know what you associate with Spring -- whether it's a photo of a blooming flower, an April shower, a bright, sunny day, or a baby at play.  Or maybe a ballgame, or a happy squirrel, or playing frisbee in the park -- whatever floats your boat and says, "Springtime is here!" to you.  The best photo will receive a Per Annum Prize Pack, valued at $50 or more.

Even though it's technically been Spring for almost a month, the weather here in New York City has not been very Spring-like, with cold temperatures and even snow -- so imagine my surprise to wake up today and find a nice, bright, sunny Spring day!  And tomorrow is supposed to be even nicer -- which gives me an idea for our April photo contest....

To celebrate the long-awaited arrival of Spring, we want to see your favorite SPRING AWAKENING photos -- anything that you think captures the essence of the season, whether it's a pretty shot of flowers blooming, a child frolicking in the park, or a yummy picnic basket.  Send us your most Spring-tastic pics, and the winner will get a special Per Annum Prize Pack!

The Votes Are In....

Okay, folks, our Baby's First Year photo contest has come to an end and the winners have been selected!  First, the prize for Best Portrait goes to.... TORY M. and her sleepy bundle of blanket-swaddled cuteness, who eked out a victory with 42.6% of the vote!  (Second place had 42.2% -- our closest vote yet!)

In the Best Candid division, the winner is.... ERIN L., whose adorable depiction of dessert gone awry won handily, with 45.8% of the vote.

Tory and Erin, we hope you enjoy the special Per Annum Prize Packs that will be on the way to your doors shortly!  Congratulations!

Thanks to all who submitted photos to our Baby's First Year photo contest!  We received a deluge of entries and boy, there are some cute babies out there.  All entrants will receive a special coupon via e-mail, which can be used on a future Per Annum order, so if you sent us an entry, be on the lookout for that very soon.

Cutest Little Baby Face

If you’ve been following our blog, you probably read that I recently had a baby boy.  What you might not know is that I am one camera crazy momma.  This is my first child and I have already taken nearly 2,000 pictures in just 3 months.  But hey, with digital technology you don’t have to pay per print anymore AND it inevitably takes dozens of shots to get those really spectacular images!

We want to see your best baby pictures for our March photo contest.  We’re looking for shots from your Baby's First Year.  This time we will be judging 2 categories -- Best Portrait and Best Candid -- one that makes us melt and one that makes us laugh.  The winners will each get special Per Annum Prize Packs!

Thanks, everyone, for all the great submissions to our Love-able Photo Contest. Photo 1: "Steeler Dogs" by Eric.  We picked this photo because it combines two great loves in many people's lives -- team pride and cute pets!

Photo 2: "Olivia & Foster" by Kimberly.  If you have siblings, you can probably appreciate this photo of brother-and-sisterly love... aww!

Photo 3: "Rollercoasters, Yay" by Kirsten.  Few things are more exhilarating than a big, intense rollercoaster ride, and this photo pretty much sums up those feelings.
